McCormick Family Author Guidelines
We are pleased that you have chosen to participate as an Author. To request Author Status you must have an approved registration and send us an email with your McCormick Family.com username and a description of the type of content you will be contributing. Before completing this, please read the guidelines below.
For our site to respect the Laws of our Country, the Rights of its Citizens, and promote a fair exchange of ideas, we need to establish some guidelines for Articles you submit. If these are not clear send us your thoughts and questions.
If you would like to submit an article, but are not sure how to get started, we can offer you some sample templates to work from.
We wish to concentrate on content that has the following characteristics. These are suggestions. We will consider other topics on their merit.
- Covers a topic related to one of the Families we are documenting.
- Relates a Family Genealogical or Historical fact or timeline.
- Describes a Family Members experiences or accomplishments.
- Announces a Birth or Commemorates a Death.
- Offers information that will help others.
We cannot promise to include content that has the following characteristics.
- Offers products and services.
- Complaints about the Website. These should be discussed with us offline. You can email us.
- Promotes unrelated Websites. Sites related to any of our families are fine and encouraged.
- Is incorrect in content.
Legally we cannot accept content with the following characteristics.
- Contains pornographic content or references.
- Uses language considered to be sexually explicit or inappropriate in any other way.
- Promotes or endorses a Political, Racial. or any inappropriate position.
- Is in violation of any other established content laws deemed to be relevant to our site..

Do you have abnormally high cholesterol levels, even at a young age? Blame your ancetors! Familial hypercholesterolemia, known as FH, is a genetic disorder that causes extremely high cholesterol levels at an extremely young age. RootsTech 2012 Day #2 with Pictures
RootsTech continued today with events and presentations similar to the first day. The day started with an informal keynote speech by Josh Coates, CEO of Instructure, an education-focused software company. Mr Coates also is the founder of Mozy. He also has a long list of impressive technological and entrepreneurial accomplishments, including Utah Entrepreneur of the Year, vSpring Capital Top 100 Venture Entrepreneur, and one of MIT Technology Review’s Top 100 Young Innovators.
